QuickTime Security Alert

Apple has officially announced that it will no longer support QuickTime for Windows.  QuickTime is multimedia software published by Apple, and came pre-installed on many versions of Windows including Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. Security firm Trend Micro discovered two vulnerabilities in QuickTime back in November 2015.  Those vulnerabilities were never patched, and will not be patched.  This means that QuickTime has at least two vulnerabilities that have been known for six months.  Any Windows computer with QuickTime installed is certainly vulnerable to many different types of attacks which could be very costly. We urge you to take steps to remove QuickTime from your company and personal computers. More information can be found here:
