Tim joined Ashland Partners in 2000 and today serves as Managing Director of the Ashland Compliance Group, LLC as well as supporting the compliance issues surrounding the verification services. He is recognized as a leader and expert in compliance and is sought after as a national speaker at national and regional conferences. His background with compliance at the SEC coupled with his knowledge of the GIPS® Standards makes him

Immediately prior to joining Ashland Partners, Tim was a Chief Compliance Examiner with the Philadelphia District Office of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he supervised and participated in several hundred examinations of Investment Advisers and Investment Companies from 1988 to 2000. He was an instructor at national training for new SEC examiners for seven years. He uses that experience to assist clients with SEC compliance issues, advertising, and required disclosures, in addition to verifying investment performance to the GIPS®.

Location/Hobbies

Tim is based in Tennessee , where he is active in his Church and, with his wife’s assistance, raising his three grandchildren. Tim’s interests include reading, working in the yard, and attempting to play golf.
